It looks like Batman or James Bond isn’t coming to take on the supervillains. But the DC area’s own Yasmin Williams is the (guitar) hero we need.

She's on a meteoric rise and can certainly help carry us forward if anyone can. During COVID, she played in our Takoma Park MD driveway for one of our neighborhood "Roadside Attractions" concerts.

Now she's in Rolling Stone, late night shows, and wowing the likes of the Newport Folk Festival. She says she is inspired by “thousands of young people [who] started to take political action and form their own ideas of how they want the future of our country to look.”

As reviewer Chris Richards of the Washington Post said:
